(14) Introduction to Leadership Coaching (The Grosvenor Hotel, London, 3 February 2020)

This course is for:
Senior and middle managers who are either new to coaching or have some experience.

What will you gain by attending?
By the end of the day delegates will have explored and gained a toolkit of coaching techniques, including some practical experience of coaching in threes. They will also have learned how to embed coaching across their school.


Course Objectives:

This course will enable you to:

  • Improve your own self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Develop deeper listening skills
  • Distinguish between coaching and mentoring
  • Understand common misconceptions about coaching
  • Establish a culture of coaching in your school

You will learn to apply a wide range of coaching and psychological models including;

-        Working Styles (Hay)

-        Transactional Analysis (Berne)

-        The Inner Game (Galwey)

-        The OK Corrall (Ernst)

-        Imposter Syndrome (Chance & Imes)


Part of the course will involve coaching practice in threes (coach, coachee and observer)

Preparatory work

All delegates will be sent some brief pre-course reading, plus a self-reflection questionnaire.
