Speakers: Emma & Charlotte Robertson, Co-Founders of Digital Awareness UK Chair: Sarah Humphrey, Deputy Head, Pastoral, Kingston Grammar School Digital Awareness UK will be sharing key findings from the Digital Wellbeing Trends research, which was conducted in partnership with HMC. Delegates will also watch a preview of the Tech Control 3 video and be introduced to the new Tech Control learning resources, developed for HMC schools. |

Business Meetings (1) – “Come with one idea, leave with many” – led by James Wilson, Deputy Head (Academic), Exeter School This aim of this session is to optimise the process of sharing ideas and discussing topics that are important to you. Please respond with answers to the questions below so that the session can be as useful as possible. Breakout rooms will use two online interactive platforms, wooclap.com and tricider.com, to generate quick responses to some topics and to allow delegates to provides more detailed ideas on other topics. These detailed ideas are then voted on by delegates so that the most popular suggestions are discussed further. After the session, a list of all submitted ideas and outcomes will be shared with all delegates. |

What do we mean when we talk about gender identity and how does this differ from sexual orientation? Five 'takeaways' to inspire best practice in your school when working with transgender or non-binary pupils.
When Mentoring programmes are successful they can be transformational, especially for mental wellbeing. Unfortunately in a busy school setting they often fizzle out without making much impact. In this workshop we will discuss how to ensure your pupil peer mentoring gains traction to deliver lasting impact to your pupils. The focus of the session will be on giving pupils the self reflection and communication skills to manage their mental well-being and the confidence to support others to do the same. Takeaways:

In this session we will explore what peer on peer abuse is, what are the causes of it and share practical tips on how to prevent and proactively respond to peer on peer abuse.
Self-harm is an often misunderstood, feared and stigmatised topics. This session will be covering the topic of self-harm by looking at what self-harm is, what can lead to self-harm, relationship between self-harm and suicide and general best practice response to disclosures. |

Safeguarding our own wellbeing and supporting our staff in looking after theirs are crucial components in creating a culture that actively addresses that priority. In the session we will be exploring the Pillars of Good Mental Health; the relationship between workload and wellbeing (and the fallacy of 'work-life' balance); who holds responsibility for staff wellbeing: and what we as leaders can do to model effective habits to promote wellbeing in our schools.
