Course overview: this one-day session focuses on how to deliver effective, well-planned, and structured presentations to communicate with a range of people to convey thoughts and ideas with clarity and confidence.

The day concludes with an opportunity to deliver a short presentation to the group.

Session 1:  Exploring your own communication style to enable you to communicate with a greater understanding of yourself and the audience

Session 2:  Creating a credible and confident first impression by looking at body language, tone and pace of voice and personal projection. Being your ‘authentic’ self to build rapport and captivate the audience

Session 3: Ensuring that clear messages are delivered that engage and ‘land’ with the audience. The use of key words and ‘storytelling’

Course Director Biography

Meg is a highly experienced, practical consultant with the ability to identify and deliver to help people and organisations reach their potential - both personally and professionally. With over 30 years’ experience in the training and development of individuals and teams, Meg has worked with blue chip companies, designing, developing and delivering a diverse range of training and development campaigns using a wide range of teaching and training methodologies.

Her key areas of activity are: Leadership and management development (Lectured for the Institute of Leadership and Management), culture change, talent and performance management, group facilitation, organisation analysis and strategic planning. CIPD mentor and coach.

Meg has worked with a number of global businesses. Her key focus is developing leadership teams and succession planning for organisations.
