Session 4: ‘Understanding and implementing external criteria’.

 

This session will be an interactive workshop. Building on the preceding session on programme management, we will break down the external criteria which informs and in some cases forms practice, evaluation and validation.

We will cover:

  • The recent changes to the Gatsby Benchmarks and implications for our settings;
  • Using the CDI’s Framework
  • External evaluation and assessment: ISI inspection and the Quality in Careers Standard (QiCS) Award.

 

The focus will be on learning from and sharing with each other – delegates are encouraged to submit copies of their School’s programmes in advance so that we can organise groups for the session. If relevant, please also feel free to share feedback from Inspection focusing on Careers provision. Please forward to pd@hmc.org.uk
