Expert-led Webinar: Working with Boys: Creating Cultures of Mutual Respect in Schools - Thursday 7 November 2024 (Online)
HMC Expert-led Webinars – a series of online CPD sessions, focusing on current themes and issues within wider society impacting schools and school culture.
Description
Working with Boys: Creating Cultures of Mutual Respect in Schools
The toxic attitudes and behaviour some boys display towards girls and women begin with the way those boys relate to each other, especially in school. This webinar will analyse the problems facing boys and will provide participants with tools to help boys create relational cultures that are mutually respectful.
The Working with Boys programme is best taught in the Autumn, and April is prime time for teachers to plan for the new academic year commencing September 2025.
This webinar will explore and go beyond the themes raised in Andrew's book: Working with Boys: Creating Cultures of Mutual Respect in Schools.
**The book can be purchased with a 15% discount and free postage from Louise Perrier: Louise.Perrier@tandf.co.uk at Routledge. Please provide your telephone number, email address and purchase order when ordering the book from Louise.**
